New Kensington Known for Amenities User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) New Kensington has a lot of amenities and the cost of living is very low. There are not that many jobs directly in the area, so it is necessary to commute out of the city for a higher paying job. The traffic can be bad because there are only a few roads out of New Kensington due ...Read More to the river that runs right through the town.

We have a lot of stores and restaurants that make New Kensington a desirable location. We have all types of restaurants including one of my favorite: Smokey Bones Bar and Grill. The BBQ has a unique flavor. We also have several coffee shops as well. I love that we have several grocery stores to choose from including organic stores and specialty food markets.

New Kensington is very family oriented and I recommend raising a family here. We are right outside of Pittsburg so if you get tired of the activities in New Kensington, it is not that difficult to commute to Pittsburgh. Read Less
