New City is a New York area that is close enough to the attractions of the city, but you'll also find that there are lots of unique attractions as well. One of the neighborhood attractions is Rockland Bakery. You can find quality breads and sweets that will make your time in New City one to remember. After visiting the bakery, you and the family can pay a visit to the United States Military Academy Visitor Center to learn more about the history of the military. West Point Museum is also located nearby, and provides more insight into the events and people that have shaped the country's history. If you want to spend more time outdoors, the Rockefeller State Park Preserve is a wonderful choice. This state park is filled with trees and plants that are native to the area, as well as walking trails that will help you get a light workout while you enjoy nature. Kykuit is another outdoor space you'll likely enjoy, and is a historic site that is filled with colorful plants.
