Monroe, LA - Relaxing & Serene User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Mar 23, 2012) In the summer of 2008, two years into my dental practice, I decided to be closer to my parents who had recently shifted from an expensive California city to Monroe, LA. Monroe city has a Civic Center with multiple facilities such as Civic Center Arena which provides a large exhibit space for circuses, banquets, music concerts and other shows for approximately 7,200 people. There are Children Museum, Aviation Military Museum, Northeast Louisiana Delta African-American Heritage Museum, the Masur Museum of Arts and various Heritage centers for museum lovers. The Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo, home for nearly 500 animals and birds offer boat rides and other seasonal activities for all ages.

The mall also has movie theater along with food and center court. Read Less
