Minnehaha, Not Your Average Small Town 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Minnehaha closely borders the state of Oregon. Cool summers and, often wet winters are an effective climate for the Pacific Northwest forests to flourish. Living in Minnehaha has been a wonderful experience in itself, being so close to Nature it's quite a different experience than living in a big city. In Minnehaha, we are fairly close to the Columbia River. This river interestingly creates a border between Washington State and Oregon, and it is not uncommon to see individuals camping along the river. The best places in Minnehaha to find food and drink are on and around 4th Plain Blvd, in Vancouver a short drive away from Minnehaha's southern border. Here you'll find many highly rated eateries, cafes, and bars. Many who live in these smaller towns often travel to Vancouver where there are a lot more options. Read Less
