I have lived in Methuen Town, MA for about five years. I moved to the area because of a promotion at work, and I have loved the area ever since. The weather is beautiful, and there are so many things to do to relax during the day and in the evening.

do in the fall is view the leaves. Since there aren't many businesses in the town, it's easy to see the beauty that is exhibited when the leaves change colors in the fall. I also like to go to some of the ski resorts. I don't have children, but I have noticed that there are several things for families to do in the city. From miniature golf to parks, it seems like this is more of a family town, and I will be excited when I can enjoy it with children of my own. The weather can get cold in the winter, and there is a good bit of snow. If moving to this part of the country is in your future, then it's advisable to have plenty of coats and warm clothes in the winter months.
There is one place I have been that is more for the younger crowd. Jay Gees Ice Cream Center has the best ice cream I have tasted. It's made with fresh ingredients, and the flavors change on a regular basis. There is also a fun center where you can play arcade games. Daly's Sports Bar is a place where the older teens and young adults go to watch a game or enjoy the typical sports grill food. There are special activities held through the year, such as St. Patrick's Day beverage specials and parties for the SuperBowl.
