Visit The Beautiful McAlester, Oklahoma! 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I for one am thrilled to have an opportunity to talk about my hometown of McAlester, Oklahoma! I know there are many who have not had the chance to experience the joys of the midwest, but let me tell you first that you will not be disappointed.

Our children here are raised by ...Read More great communities, and one thing to keep in mind is that when you have a great community it translates over to the school system as well. Grades have been higher, and everyone seems to enjoy the fact that lately we have seen some of our best test scores yet.

I know that housing is one of the biggest concerns when looking to move, and luckily the homes here are not as expensive as say, Oklahoma City. I know when you have to look at homes a main question is crime rates, and we do the best we can to form neighborhood watch groups. All in all McAlester is a gem of the midwest and it would be our pleasure to welcome you for a visit! Read Less
