One of the best places in Maumee, Ohio is Sidecut Park. Positioned in the middle of the city, it feels like nothing short of a natural oasis. It boasts a heavily wooded area with the river cutting right through the center. It is a great place to relax, take in nature, or even go fishing. Maumee has not only one, but fifteen different parks and nature reserves. These make great places to run, play, or even hike.
In addition to being in touch with nature, Maumee has a great nightlife, restaurant, and shopping scene. For a city, Maumee has relatively light traffic and is easy to navigate. It boasts a great school system and has many activities and events for families every year.
