Maudlin, A Quiet Country Rest In New Tech City 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I work in the tech industry, and the Greenville is an amazing area for tech growth. Unfortunately, anyone who was interested in tech and wanted to stay home in South Carolina has the same information.

Outside of Greenville is a city called Mauldin, and it's nice. Just like Taylo ...Read More rs and Greer on the other side of Greenville, living in Mauldin, SC delivers the convenience of a booming tech city with the charm of Southern living.

The difference between Mauldin and other cities and towns in the Greenville area is the distance between homes and the touch of nature. There are a lot more homes that run the gamut from quaint and cozy to regal within the woods, offering more peace and quiet than some of the more packed towns.

The best areas in Mauldin are Springfield Park and the fitness centers at the north side of town. You can easily visit the other surrounding towns to enjoy their flavor as well.

If you're interested in avoiding the suburban nightmare of spiraling housing in the same shape and size, make it Mauldin. It's located on 385, so most of the traffic is inbound from Columbia, Charleston, and Myrtle Beach.

That's not much traffic to worry about, at least not until the summer or prime season to visit Asheville, NC. Read Less
