The moderate climate and the plentiful recreational activities make Maple Valley an amazing place to live for outdoor enthusiasts. The well-loved Lake Wildness Park is a favorite with both residents and visitors for its seasonal special events and plentiful opportunities to kick back and have fun. Regarded as one of the best areas in Maple Valley, the Cedar River Trail is a haven for runners and bikers. In addition, the new Gaffney's Grove Disc Golf Course is emerging as a town favorite.
