The people are some of the nastiest, rudest people I have ever encountered. Every time I go through there I have a bad experience. Two women behind me in a clothing store recently made snarky comments about my eyelashes of all things. (yeah hags, I heard you). Sorry not sorry y ...Read More
ou are frumpy, dumpy women from Mansfield who are jealous because they are frumpy, dumpy women from Mansfield. Plenty of white trash there to keep you entertained, if you have the misfortune of being there for any reason.

Mansfield has its ups and downs. We have a nice art community & there is a lot of activity down town. We have very cool old buildings. an old prison you can tour & a carousel.
On the bad side, there is a lot of crime and our city looks like a dump. If you're looking for a thriv ...Read More
ing night life, don't look here. I always feel like there is nothing to do.
One thing Mansfield is good for... it's a cheap city to live in and we're an hour away from Columbus and an hour and a half away from Cleveland.

I have lived in Mansfield, Ohio for the past 11 years. My experience in the city has been nothing but a good one. Having moved to Mansfield from a large city, it was nice to experience Mansfield's similar city feel. Though Mansfield isn't as sophisticated as what I am used to, it ...Read More
is still a great city to call home. It is quite easy to see that some parts of the city are not exactly bustling with life. In fact, some neighborhoods are nothing more than an eyesore. Boarded up houses, poverty, and crime make up some of the streets in Mansfield. Though it does bother me to see it, I know that most of the larger cities also face the same type of problems.
Mansfield is home to a large elderly generation. Their stories and friendliness contribute to the history of the city. Mansfield does have many historical sights and attractions. One thing I can say about the city is that I have never been bored. There are so many different activities that are available to the resident of Mansfield. Loving nature myself, I have been able to enjoy the over 30 parks that are spread out throughout Mansfield. During the winter season, there is a popular ski attraction that residents are able to spend their time at. Snow Trails Ski Resort is known throughout all of Ohio, not just in Mansfield. This ski resort is one of the oldest ski resorts in the state, having been around since 1961. I still remember my first time visiting the resort. Standing on top of almost 1500 feet, the view was spectacular.
Shopping in Mansfield isn't too bad, though it is not very exciting. There are some stores that I've chosen to frequent when I have felt the need to shop. Mansfield has been able to provide me with a happy home environment. I can imagine myself living there for years to come, even when I begin to raise a family. It may not be one of the newest cities, but it does have a great sense of community and history behind it.
