I have been living in Lynnwood, Washington, for the past five years. It is located 10 miles north of Seattle. It's a city with a lot of shopping, especially in and around Alderwood Mall. There are also many restaurants including the standard mainstream ones such as Red Robin, App ...Read More
lebees, and Red Lobster. I think the best restaurant is Anthony's Seafood Grill which has an excellent menu.
Lynnwood is in the Edmonds School District. This is a good school district, although the nearby Northshore School disctrict is probably the best one in the area. Lynnwood High school is just four years old and Alderwood Middle School opened for the 2016 school year.
Probably the biggest negative about Lynnwood is that the traffic can be pretty bad. It sometimes takes me well over 10 minutes to go to the Fred Meyer which is just a mile away from me, for example. Also, there are cameras at every intersection and they are a big revenue generator for the city.
