The Community of Northridge, CA 5 rating By Anonymous ( Sep 20, 2012) There comes a point in time when one realizes that an impending decision will likely alter the course of one's life. Born and raised in the state of Al ...Read More abama, I experienced a culture shock. The community of Northridge awakened my senses in a way I never dreamed was possible. I now knew were I would be attending college the following year. That decision has attached itself to my memory bank as the best choice I have made in my life.

In a community filled with the kindness one would expect and come to appreciate while raising a family, Northridge is everything one would need in a home, and more. The excellent array of schools provide my wife and I comfort in the education our children are receiving. Just minutes away from our home in a neighborhood that has embraced my family and I with open arms, all that is required can be found locally. The amount of available activities would take a lifetime to list. Friends visiting from out of town have enjoyed their stay so much that two couples have since relocated, living here now.

Only a 15 minute drive from Los Angeles and 20 minutes from Venice Beach, its no wonder our guests have made Northridge their annual vacation of choice. Their children are never bored as we embark on new ventures at each outing. Less than two hours away from the San Diego Zoo, while Magic Mountain lies just on the other side of the hill, I couldn't have asked for a better place to call home. When craving snow during the winter months, a short trek to Big Bear leaves everyone sated. Whether one chooses to spend the weekend out and about or barbecuing in the back yard, you can never go wrong when Northridge is where you call home. I encourage anyone seeking a change, or even if relocating for work to visit Northridge. Chances are you'll make the same decision I did. Read Less
