Linthicum, MD: There Are Better Places in Maryland 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) With a crime rate that is growing by leaps and bounds, neighborhoods that are turning into slums overnight, a failing school system, and residents who couldn't care less about any of the above, Linthicum, Maryland is not a place I can recommend either to visit or to live. After l ...Read More iving in Linthicum for about 18 months now it is sad for me to say that I cannot find anything positive to say about this area anymore. I used to feel that it was one of the best areas in this part of the state, but that has changed drastically. If you're considering a move to Linthicum let me strongly advise you against it.


If you do find yourself in the Linthicum vicinity, do yourself a favor and stay as occupied as possible. Check out Game Truck Howard County for some unique mobile gaming, laser tag, and other activities, relax and enjoy a tour with Watermark Cruises, and definitely check out Terrapin Adventures for some rafting or kayaking fun or to take on one of their challenge courses. Enjoy what you can and leave the rest behind. Read Less
