The Highs and Lows of Living In Levittown, PA 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( Mar 23, 2012) I have lived in Levittown, PA for almost three years. Levittown is a small suburb, conveniently located north of Philadelphia and south of Trenton. It is a quaint community with small houses and friendly neighbors.

There are a couple of negatives about Levittown. The first is th ...Read More at dining options are limited. There are a few pizza places, a small thai restaurant and several fast food restaurants, but the town lacks great restaurants. To find restaurants that are great, I travel to Newtown. That area is only twenty minutes away, but it would be nice to have some of those same options within a mile or two of my house. Nightlife is also lacking in Levittown, but I have found two solutions to that problem. When I want to enjoy an evening out with my husband, we will travel to Trenton and take the train in to New York City. The trip takes us about two hours. Driving in to Philadelphia is also a great option, as that city is filled with sports venues, theaters and nightclubs, making it the perfect choice for nighttime entertainment.

Moving on to the positives, Levittown is a great location for individuals who love the outdoors. My family regularly spends time in the many parks that are nearby. Since the neighbors in this community are so friendly, it is also easy to enjoy evening walks in the spring or block party style barbecues in the summer. Levittown also meets all of my shopping needs as it is close to both big box stores and the Oxford Valley Mall. Another big positive is that this town is only ten minutes from Sesame Place, making it the ideal location for my two young children. Read Less
