Lemay, MO is NOT A Nice Place to Live

Even though this is considered to be one of the best areas in the state to live in, I'm pretty sure when people say that they are skipping Lemay entirely, And they should be. The crime rate is terrible here. The housing market is practically nonexistent and so is the job market for that matter. We have lived here for just over 4 years now, and people have been upset about how bad the schools are since we came here. We haven't heard of anything improving yet. There is a very poor graduation rate showing and an embarrassingly high dropout rate. Those two things alone speak volumes. You would think being located close to St. Louis there would be a lot more to do for fun, but unless you want to do a lot of driving you pretty much have to stick with things like The Missouri Civil War Museum, the Budweiser Brewing Experience, and Grant's Farm. Sorry to say, this is not a very good place to live.
