Quaint, quiet, cute and accessible!~

We moved to the Mayfair area and have never regretted it. Our home equity steadily rises. The neighborhood is friendly, quiet, upgrading and quaint. Our home was like winning a prize.

Our home was completely revamped, excluding the back yard. It was like moving into a brand new home, but with all the perks of not moving into an HOA development. From huge yards averaging about 6,900 sq. ft., to allow you to really live in your back yard and create entertainment pockets, to the old garages that many are converting into casitas for extra income.

The landscaping hasn't caught up yet, but we purchased here knowing that it will, because we've seen the revitalization of downtown San Jose and downtown L.A. and we know that these old homes are gems, just waiting for the right people and that will boost the home equity here. Slowly but surely, new families are buying homes here and the glut of empty rentals has been replaced with hard working fun families. And never have I known my neighbors to be a more helpful group of folks. It reminds me of the old Americana, where neighbors chatted over front fences and everyone knew the old guy that wore a black wool coat in the summer and worried about him.

The best part is there is no HOA expenses, so you can invest that money into your property. Our pocketed neighborhood is walking distance to Las Vegas Blvd., the Fremont Street Experience and all the new eateries in the Arts District and nearby. In the morning, you can hop on a bike and ride through the legal district on bike paths and enjoy the peace and quiet. At night, you can walk up Fremont Street and enjoy some of the new cafes and watering holes and admire what Las Vegas is doing for revitalization.

This place is a win-win investment for us. We have no intention of selling ever!
