A Rollercoaster Ride in Largo 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Largo is one location of a very popular amusement park called Six Flags America. Other recreational activities located in Largo include a huge wooded area called Watkins Park. The park has play areas, a farm, miniature golf, and a carousel, among other attractions. Other amenitie ...Read More s in the community include a fair amount of shopping and dining options and several shopping centers to choose from.

Living in Largo offers a wide range of housing options. There's a lot of apartment communities, condominiums, townhomes, and single family homes. The cost of living has gone up due to the development of the community and its amenities. You can still find reasonably priced housing in the area though. Crime occurs in the community but it's not widespread. The area schools are mediocre and include the Prince George's County Community College.

Largo has a good amount of employment opportunities. There are a lot of businesses in the area, including government offices. Residents that commute have access to major roadways and highways from the nearby Interstate 495. Some of the best areas in Largo are off of Central Avenue near Six Flags and Watkins Park. Another is off of Route 202, also known as Largo Road, going towards Upper Marlboro. Read Less
