Lake Oswego, OR - City Review

I just loved living in Lake Oswego, Oregon. This city is located on the border of the Willamette River, just eight miles south of Portland, Oregon. In the early 19th century this charming city was a successful steel town. After the decline of the steel industry in the 1930's, this charming city became a bedroom community. In 2014 this charming city was rated as one of the top ten cities to raise children. Although this city is considered a suburb, it is located close to Portland. Therefore, residents can enjoy the restaurants, nightlife, and other amenities offered by the city of Portland, Oregon. Once you enjoy the nightlife of Portland; you can retreat to the tranquility of Lake Oswego. The beautiful lake is fed by the Tualatin River. The lake rights are closely maintained by the Lake Oswego Corporation, a non-profit organization. The median price for a single family dwelling in Lake Oswego is between $450,000.00 and $500,000.00. The median home prices here may seem slightly expensive. However, all the residents agree this is the perfect place to call home.
