This city is located on the border of the Willamette River, just eight miles south of Portland, Oregon. In the early 19th century this charming city was a successful steel town. In 2014 this charming city was rated as one of the top ten cities to raise children.

Although this city is considered a suburb, it is located close to Portland. Therefore, residents can enjoy the restaurants, nightlife, and other amenities offered by the city of Portland, Oregon. Once you enjoy the nightlife of Portland; you can retreat to the tranquility of Lake Oswego. The beautiful lake is fed by the Tualatin River. The lake rights are closely maintained by the Lake Oswego Corporation, a non-profit organization.

The median price for a single family dwelling in Lake Oswego is between $450,000.00 and $500,000.00. The median home prices here may seem slightly expensive. However, all the residents agree this is the perfect place to call home. Read Less
