The lake is the big attraction. Having your own boat is grand, but if not, your friends and neighbors will gladly take you out on the lake in theirs. It is a busy little town, but you can also find some quiet, tranquil spots to live in the foothills. There is something here for everyone, except good shopping, but then Las Vegas is only a 2.5 hour drive away. There you will find a plethora of shopping, shows and casinos. There is also a small casino across the lake; catch the 15 minute ferry ride over. Lake Havasu City is a little piece of paradise and I love living here.

Lamp post on the bridgeOn London Bridge in one of the lamp posts there is a small door. You can see the hinges but the door is sealed. I was telling my wife that the Bobby's in London used to be able to open those doors and could call their buddies if there was trouble. Has anyone heard of this?
