I have lived here my whole life and my familia too. When I was young I use to live by the Industry and its not good and safe. When I use to walk home from school I would not feel safe if it is night already. As I got older my family moved to the part of La Puente close to West C ...Read More
ovina and I can walk here at night. La Puente is good if your family is struggling to speak English. No one need to learn English here and the community grow closer by not worry about English. My parents brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts and everybody in my family will always be in La Puente for home and we want to keep it that way. We want to carry our Mexican tradition. My tips for somebody who want to make La Puente home would be not to live by Industry or Baldwin Park or El Monte because there are a lot of gangs there and the city lies about it but locals know the truth. Around there expect a lot of prostitution. When you pass by the area you would pass at least 6 strip clubs. If you go to the business around there to fix your car make sure you know Spanish or it will be harder to get a lot of job done. In La Puente you should live here if you want a close Hispanic community and the house should be near West Covina and Rowland Height.

ry calm. Although it is mainly dominated by Hispanics, I can find people of many different cultures here, so it's pretty diverse.
Living in La Puente means that there are a variety of choices for food. It is full of restaurants offering food from different cultures. Living in La Puente is amazing because it puts me in the middle of the county. The city is close to many major cities in the county of Los Angeles, so it's easy to just travel to the major areas. Whether I want to go hiking or go to the beach or take a stroll on Hollywood Boulevard, living in La Puente makes it all convenient.
Although it's easy to travel to the neighboring cities, visiting the parks, makes for a really nice and enjoyable time. La Puente City Park, which is a major park here is a nice place to go to and catch a little league game or enjoy family time with the kids on the playground. There are plenty of activities that take place there. I really love this city, It is amazing. It's a calm city with amazing people and livelihood.
