able to damage about 70 homes, it brought people from across the community together in unprecedented ways. In my opinion, the best areas of the city are those surrounding La Porte High School
My community is home to the Bayport Container Terminal offers plenty of jobs moving freight from the Port of Houston throughout North America. Many downtown businesses are operated by small merchants allowing everyone to find unique options in antiques,, boutique clothing along with amazing thrift store finds.
At the end of the day, there are plenty of great restaurants to eat at if you do not feel like cooking at home. Many like Mountain Inn and Southern Komfort Seafood Restaurant & Catering offer great seafood that is often caught fresh that day. Others like El Toro Mexican Restaurant and Gringo's Mexican Restaurant pay tribute to dishes created south of the border.
