I traveled to Kenner with my wife to visit my sister-in-law, who had recently moved to Kenner. The trip turned out to be more eventful than expected, as I did not know that the city o ...Read More f Kenner was so full of exciting activities, attractions and night life!

During our first day in Kenner, I visited the famous Mardi Gras Museum. The videos and paraphernalia of the museum provides visitors with an excellent illustration of the history of the French Quarter and the rich traditions of New Orleans. We had planned to visit the Saints Hall of Fame Museum afterward, but time slipped away from us in the Mardi Gras Museum. Following our trip to the museum, we enjoyed an excellent seafood dinner at Stingray's Grill and Bar. The atmosphere at Stingray's was festive that evening, as the upstairs banquet room was packed full of guests attending a wedding rehearsal dinner.

While the attractions and food was to my liking in Kenner, my favorite part of my visit was playing a round of golf at the Chateau Golf and Country Club. I enjoyed watching my handicap suffer on the awesome 18 hole regulation length golf course while my wife and sister-in-law shopped at nearby Lakeside Mall. The visit came to an end too soon for my taste and I am already looking forward to my next trip to Kenner! Read Less
