The cost of living in Kearns seems low, which overall isn't a bad thing. However, the crime rate in Kearns can be just a bit on the high side. Also, the job market isn't the strongest so if you're moving to the area, make sure you have a job lined up beforehand.
Overall, living in Kearns isn't bad if you don't mind an almost country-like vibe. One of the best areas in the city is the mountain range on the east side of the city, which is gorgeous to visit. However, you may need to drive around the city a bit to do your shopping or find a nice restaurant.
