The definition of a dying town User Rating 1.5 rating By Anonymous ( Jan 10, 2020) Johnstown was once a booming metropolis where everyone was doing well. Now, it's gone to complete garbage. There's really not much to do here, either. The mall is dying, there's no amusement parks, finding a job here is impossible, and if you want your kid to get a good high school education, DO NOT send them to Greater Johnstown School District. The better neighborhoods to live in are too expensive, the cheaper neighborhoods are either filled with crooks or crazy people, and the drug problem is really rough here. Also run by a very corrupt city council. I only live here now because of my family and closest friends. Read Less
