This is a rural town with a large span of cornfields. Although the town is small and everyone knows everyone, it is still big enough to where you can have a city vibe. There are a few cases where there is theft from a vehicle, but it is not as frequent as other cities. You can still feel safe but lock your doors. The nightlife could improve drastically; there are only two bars that are popular with the younger crowd (college students). The best areas in Hutchinson are down Main Street for shopping and dining and near Hutchinson Mall off Century Ave SW. Traffic is minimal; however, one can get hung up on Main Street. Read Less
