I grew up here and lived most of my childhood in Huntington. It is the epitome of snobby, self centered, and overrated New York. I am so happy that I moved away and will never return to this "cold" hearted town. I would recommend other nearby towns such as Northport, Smithtown, E ...Read More
ast Setauket or Port Jefferson if you HAVE to live on Long island. Long Island is overrated and so extremely overpriced that many people decide to leave and move down south for better opportunities, cost of living and happier communities. Huntington does have a nice downtown area (The Village), but lacks charm and a hospitality. I hope this article is helpful for anyone who decides to research Huntington or possibly move to Long Island in general.
