Hopewell, Virginia: A Great Community to Live 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I have lived in Hopewell, Virginia for my entire thirty years. My hometown of Hopewell is situated in between Richmond and Petersburg. Like most cities it has pros and cons if you live here. Living in Hopewell, Virginia for myself has overall been a positive experience.

What I ...Read More love about Hopewell is that the citizens that are here, do seem to care about each other. This is not the richest town, as most of the jobs are factory jobs and housing costs do run on the high side. There are also many jobs related to the customer service industry here in Hopewell.

The best areas in Hopewell, Virginia that may attract families that have children, is our local school system. As a product of the Hopewell school division, I can honestly say that I received a good education. I felt safe throughout my school years and felt that the teachers were dedicated and actually cared about me as a student.

So if you are looking for a community that feels welcoming, then come to the town of Hopewell. Read Less
