Living in Hopatcong is amazing. I love living here because it is a safe area with minimal reports of crimes being reported. It also has many amenities such as the Hopatcong State Park, schools, shopping centers, and restaurants among many more. Public transportati ...Read More on is also available, which provides access to other areas.

I did not like the fact that Hopatcong has no public schools because it limits the access to education to those who can afford private learning. The cost of living is also higher as compared to the national average level. I tend to spend more on housing and commodities than in health care and transportation. Rental houses are available, but they are highly priced. The community is posher as most individuals own homes as opposed to renting. Hopatcong is the best place to live especially if you are wealthy because of the luxury the area accords.

The weather at Hopatcong varies across the seasons in the year. It can get quite hot, but people embrace the changes by indulging in outdoor activities. Read Less
