The Waipahu living expenses can be considered as being quite practical for the State of Hawaii. Cost of living is right around the same averages of Honolulu. Of course one cannot forget to mention the amazing weather all of Hawaii has to offer, and the neighborhood of Waipahu is no different. The average temperatures year round ranges between 74 and 81 degrees. It is definitely the definition of heaven on Earth for anyone that wants to wake up to a tolerable climate every single day of the year.
The Waipahu neighborhood has many attractive amenities for tourists and residents to enjoy year-round. The USS Arizona Memorial and WWII Valor in the Pacific National Memorial is a great tribute for our past fallen soldiers of war. Waikiki Beach is a must visit for anyone that wants to take a day off to relax on one of the most beautiful scenery our world has to offer.
Frequent long distance travelers will have no problem adjusting to living in Waipahu as there are 2 airports within 30 miles of distance. The Waipahu neighborhood of Honolulu is considered as being an extremely livable environment. There are 20 grocery stores within one mile, 20 drink and food restaurants within one mile, 20 shopping stores within one mile, two coffee shops within one mile, 10 schools within one mile, 9 parks within one mile, and much more. The neighborhood and city has a lot to offer for anybody that wants to reside in or travel to Waipahu, Honolulu, Hawaii.
My experience of living in Waipahu was an overall pleasant one. I had everything I needed within walking distance and never even needed a car. I always felt at home as my neighbors were always very friendly. They are definitely a reflection of the people of the town overall. I highly recommend people to at least visit the wonderful place I once called my home.
