I loved living in Hollister. I was lucky to be born and raised in such a wonderful place. If you are looking for a quiet but not to remote place this would be the best spot to reside in. Housing here is a bit high but I believe it's well worth it. The weather in Hollister is amazing, and you get to experience fresh air.In the summer it can get to the high nineties in but when the sun goes down you the cool air returns. Throughout the rest of the year it remains in the low sixties.

Hollister is a very peaceful and lovely place to live but when it comes to looking for work there are not a lot of options. To find work you might have to commute to a bigger city near by, such as Gilroy, Morgan Hill, and San Jose.

Despise the commute, the best thing about living in Hollister is that it is so close to some of the popular beach cities like Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay. Both of those cities are less than an hour away from Hollister. The best areas with in Hollister to seek out are the Grove by Leal Vineyards and Hollister Hills. The Grove is one of the most beautiful restaurants to either enjoy lunch or dinner. Hollister Hills is a perfect place to go when you want to go Off-roading or to go on a hike.
