Hazel Dell, WA a Cute Little Suburb 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I lived in Hazel Dell, WA when I was growing up and it was great little suburb. The schools are newer than in Vancouver, and the school district is better than it's neighboring ones.

During the spring, the Hazel Dell Parade happens where high school bands play, the fire trucks a ...Read More re out, and clowns throw candy to kids sitting on the curbs. The summer brings the opening of swimming at the Parson's Center and kids playing at the "fireman park" complete with fire engine jungle gym, soccer field, and sand box.

There isn't really a night life in Hazel Dell, WA, however, it's a very short drive to Portland where everything you could want is at your finger tips.

Hazel Dell has been getting a makeover for the last 5 years and it has improved greatly. It used to be a lot of low income housing, but now it's becoming more upscale with newer apartment buildings, new stores and shops. Hazel Dell, WA is becoming an up and coming neighborhood. It has always been a nice place to live, but now it's even better. Read Less
