Behold Hanover, home to Dartmouth College (please bow, this is an Ivy League School) located in the middle of Hanover, NH. Hanover and the surrounding areas (Lyme, Etna) are nice towns if you have the money to afford the housing which is artificially inflated. Budget minded students should not think this is a good place to rent-- because of the housing shortage (of apts.) landlords charge a lot of money for old places and get away with it. Prices in Hanover are high because the merchants want the dollars that come with students. The shopping is the biggest joke...overpriced bookstores, Starbucks, The Gap or whatever, line the one street that has stores. The Nugget is a decent movie theatre and worth visiting. If you don't like students, hipsters, and PC wanna bes, avoid Hanover. Diversity is encouraged because it makes good press.
