Guymon, OK: A Good Place to call Home 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Guymon Oklahoma is a great place to live if you don't mind living in a small community. What I like most about living here is the fact that Guymon is located not too far from Lubbock, TX, Garden City, KS., and Colorado Springs which are much larger cities with more things to offe ...Read More r such as shopping malls, fine dining restaurants, and nightclubs, but it was always good to return home to the small town of Guymon after a weekend in the big city.

The city also has some good job opportunities, especially if you're into farm work. There are also jobs in the pork industry through a pork processing plant that pays well and offers some good benefits as well.

Summers are especially fun in Guymon as there are a lot of community activities going on, but fall and spring are the seasons I enjoy the most because of all because of all the bright colors of the plant life. In fall, the trees turn some amazing reds, yellows, and orange colors. If you do move to Guymon, OK., then it would be best if you have a car or truck because there is practically no public transportation. Read Less
