A Great Family Town - Guthrie, OK User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I have lived in Guthrie, OK for a little over three years. It is a very small community. Everyone who lives here knows each other. It seems to be a nice place to raise a family. Guthrie, for the most part is rather quiet. It is far from the city.

Guthrie is know for all the h ...Read More istory that has taken place here. It is really a historical town. In Downtown Guthrie, there is a movie theater, a few antique shops and a drive in theater. Downtown is pretty fun for a family. It is beautiful in the winter. It does not have a lot of night life going on. However, Edmond and Oklahoma City are only fifteen minutes away!

The town is rural, so it has the attractions of the country. The town has beautiful country scenery. There's lots of green grass and places for my kids to run. My kids and I love it here in Guthrie. The community is great. Read Less
