Enjoy Island Park in Green River 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I've been living in Green River Wyoming for 5 years and it is a unique small town that has friendly neighbors and great natural scenery that provides lots of opportunities for outdoorsmen to enjoy life and nature in a laid-back friendly atmosphere. My wife and three kids have enj ...Read More oyed living in this small town and taking advantage of the Green River Bike Park and various other recreational amenities and outdoorsy environments. There is little crime in Green River and the weather here is normal for Wyoming very cold in the winter and summers are excellent.

The best areas in Green River are around Island Park where there is very a close-knit neighborhood where your friendly neighbors look out for one another and build strong community relationships that are very welcoming. It is safe in Green River because you know most of your neighbors and everyone consistently looks out for one another and has a more conservative approach to life. If you're looking to relocate to the Wyoming area, I highly recommend this small town as a great place to live and raise a family and enjoy a close-knit community experience. Read Less
