Golden, Colorado is best known for being the headquarters of the Coors Brewery. In addition to the economic impact of Coors, the city also benefits from the diverse job opportunities offered all over the Front Range in the technology and service industries. The idyllic mountain setting and moderate climate combine to make Golden a popular tourist destination and a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The best areas in Golden are the ones focused on the outdoors, such as the myriad of hiking trails and open spaces. The historic Buffalo Bill's Grave and Museum is a fun way to spend an afternoon.
