Georgetown Home of the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I've been living in Georgetown Georgia over the last 8 years with my four kids and wife and we have enjoyed the small-town atmosphere and unique charm and friendly neighbors in this small town in Georgia. There is very little crime in Georgetown and we have enjoyed the safe neigh ...Read More borhoods and close-knit friendly people in the city that has provided a laid-back atmosphere and approach to living that is very nice. The school systems in Georgetown are okay but I think they could be a lot better if there were more resources put into the school system.

The best areas in Georgetown is around the Sugar Mills Neighborhood Park area where there are nice neighborhoods that are reasonably priced and provide opportunities for you to buy older houses or newer houses in these communities. Georgetown is only 45 minutes away from Dothan Alabama where you can enjoy a larger town with more activities to enjoy. You have all the shops and restaurants locally that you need to purchase all the things to make living here conveniences such as what Walmart Supercenters and other fast food chains. If you are looking to enjoy small-town atmosphere that is unique, I recommend Georgetown as a great place in southern Georgia to live. Read Less
