much better than a nice big slice of pizza and a big glass of beer from Oggie's, which is the greatest sports bar in Garden Grove. The chicken wings and salads are top quality. This is the restaurant to come for a good meal and a fun time watching the big game. The Buffalo Chicken Salad is a particular favorite of the female customers.
The Boiling Crab on Brookhurst Street is the best restaurant in Garden Grove for Vietnamese and French cuisine. And they serve fantastic seafood for unbelievably low prices. With crawfish, clams, and shrimp made to order by the pound, The Boiling Crab is one of the best seafood restaurants in Southern California and probably the best in Garden Grove.
Garden Grove is a great town to visit or make a home.

Garden Grove is one of the many suburbs that encircle Los Angeles, but this community sets itself apart from the rest thanks to the kind and energetic people who call it home. The city has grown to over 170,000 residents who take pride in calling the city home. Just 30 miles to the southeast of downtown Los Angeles, there are many people who live here that commute into LA every day in order to work, play, and relax. Garden Grove has a steady economy that is blessed with all of the jobs available in Orange County and beyond.
Interstate 5 and Interstate 405 both serve the area, and while they can back up during rush hour traffic, Garden Grove sees nowhere near the amount of traffic as Los Angeles, Irvine, or other cities that are closer to the downtown area. Orange County Transportation is the area's option for those who are looking to reduce their carbon footprint by leaving their cars and trucks at home in the garage. It is a reliable option that is also economical. Many residents of Garden Grove also get around by bike since the city has invested money into bike lanes in recent years.
Disneyland the surrounding shopping opportunities are some of the attractions that are closest to Garden Grove. This is perfect for families with young children or teenagers since everyone seems to love the magic of Mickey, Minnie, and all of the modern Disney characters. Christ Cathedral Church is a local landmark that has hosted hundreds of thousands of worshippers since first opening its doors.
Home prices in Garden Grove are cheaper than in neighboring communities like Irvine and Santa Clarita, but they are still well above the national average. This is the price that must be paid to live in a city that has some of the best weather in all of the state and a lot of top-notch entertainment options. West Garden Grove, Rustic Lane, and Colonia Manzanilla are just a few of the areas where those looking to buy or rent a home should search in order to find a diamond in the rough. Garden Grove High School and the main branch of the city's library are located near each other in the downtown area, making it easy for teenagers to further their education while having a little bit of fun.
Dining is a great choice in Garden Grove, and Los Sanchez Restaurant is one of the best choices for Mexican food in the entire LA area. The Smoking Ribs and Carolina's Italian Restaurant are also places that you will see packed on a Friday night since they offer great dishes at unbeatable prices.
