Forest Hills: High Standards of Living in the City

Forest Hills, Michigan is situated along the Grand River and just minutes away from the bustling new economy of Grand Rapids. I've lived in Forest Hills for several years now and can say that it is one of the best places I have every lived anywhere in the country. It's an excellent choice for an upper middle-class community that is safe and cost-effective. You really feel like your dollar goes a long way here with all things considered. Forest Hills offers an excellent public school system with private schools being another viable option.

Being just minutes (really only a mile or two) away from Grand Rapids is a huge plus. The region has immense opportunities for shopping and dining with anything from small independent shops to the two malls located just a few minutes outside of Forest Hills.

Forest Hills is also right next to Ada, which is home to Amway- a very large company with more the plenty of employment opportunities. The entire Grand Rapids area (including Forest Hills) is definitely an up and coming economy and anyone who is currently or is considering raising a family should definitely move here.
