Review Florida Ridge
Florida Ridge, Fl - Manageable
I enjoy living in Florida Ridge, Fl. It has great weather and the cost of living is very affordable. It doesn't take much for me to be happy, but as far as crime is concerned, going out at night might not be the best idea.
Amenities are poor. You can find about two fitness centers, maybe one good bar: Cosmic Charlie Tap House. As far as shopping is concerned, my cousin did pick up a really nice wedding dress from Fernandas Bridal, but not too many boutiques available. As the crime rate is 38% higher than the national average, I have a little concern with raising a kid here. However, I'm partly satisfied with the fact that over 83% of high school kids have graduated high school. The fact that only 19.7% of the city have a bachelor's degree says something about my kid's future.
However, the cost of living is amazing. Of course with a trade off of low cost usually comes crime, but as survivalists, we must know where to go and what not to do, and we are managing quite well. The cost of living in Florida Ridge, Fl is 7% lower than the national average. As far as restaurants are concerned, fast food and take-out takes the cake, but you can find some good casual dining restaurants as well: Plum Tree, and Mr. Manatee's Casual Grille, to name a few. The best areas to live near Florida Ridge, Fl are Vero Beach, Sebastian and Wabasso Beach.
