I currently live in McComb and commute to Findlay for work.
The dining is actually pretty good surprisingly. They have many great restaurants owned by different people and dietches, Wilson’s and jack and do’s is especially a treat. The city has a strong and robust economy du ...Read More
e to marathon and cooper tire, The city tends to lean conservative which I don’t mind, everyone should practice their own beliefs after all. It’s a good place to raise a family. It’s quiet and has 2 great parks nearby and outdoor stuff. It’s also near Toledo, Ft Wayne, Columbus, Dayton and Detroit so you will always be able to drive to find something to do. You can also stop in Lima. Which, admittedly is a dump but they have a decent mall and a space museum nearby.
This place is a great place to raise a family though. It’s safe
The attractions are what you would expect from a smaller city. A mall, Chain stores, A pool, A few parks, A few golf courses etc… There is nothing really special in Findlay compared to other cities. But for some, that’s a good thing. As this tends to mean there is less crime and other issues.
Findlay has a few problems though. Issues with drugs and it had a history of being a sundown town over the years. But it’s a good place to raise a family and for a relaxed life. (But not in total isolation from everything either)

Findlay Ohio is a town full of rich rednecks who only care about themselves. Housing prices are expensive. Findlay has nothing to do and is mostly closed minded racist conservatives. Which I dislike. The town has nothing to do and public transport is terrible in this town. On the ...Read More
positive side. The crime rate is very low. It exist. But it’s low. And it’s not a terrible place to raise a family but if you’re a young adult like Me. Downtown is fine but is bland. Dining options are mostly chains and fast food. And all the shopping is in one of their TWO Walmart’s. It’s not a very good place if your a young adult like me. Currently live in Cleveland. #Cleveland4Life

I am a current resident of Cleveland Ohio, however my place of choice to live in would have to be Findlay, Ohio. What made me love Findlay was the weather. Although with the cold air that we receive from fall to late spring, this is no problem for a strong heater as well as some ...Read More
electric blankets. Fall is the best time to reside here because of the changing leaves. The best part of this town is the community. There is so much to do here and there are so many shops to visit. I visit them everyday on my way to walking the kids to school. The best aspects about my cozy neighborhood are the available amenities as well as the cost of living here. A few not so great aspects of my community is the crime rate as well as the weather.
In Findlay there were so many shopping opportunities. I don't mean commercial shopping, I mean browsing the boutiques or making a trip to the local coffee shop or the farmer's market. My favorite item to purchase at the local market was sweet corn that would be at its absolute best in June. In addition to the community, the cost of living here is also inexpensive. Prices for groceries, health care, as well as the utilities were generally inexpensive.
Though there were many great aspects of this little community, the crime as well as the weather could be a little bit off putting. I will not lie, the crime rate is high. If you ever plan of moving here, I would suggest an alarm system and to never leave valuables in your care. The weather, in addition to the crime can prevent people from moving here. The weather here is quite cold and can be below 0 at certain times in the winter.
