Ferndale Warms Our Hearts 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Railroads, bridges, rivers, lakes, all the small town essentials can be found here in Ferndale. I live in a small town located in Northwestern Washington, in close proximity to the United States/Canada border. Living in Ferndale and growing up here was quite an experience, I had ...Read More many of the same friends from elementary school through high school graduation. Now that I have children they enjoy the same outdoor adventures that I undertook as a kid. We are surrounded by the beauty of nature, and there is always something new to explore in the outdoors.

Property values have gone up steadily, but are not as high as they are in the greater metropolitan area of Seattle, I consider it to be pretty stable. There is not a steady stream of employment opportunities in Ferndale, but take the time to get to know people, because that is often the best way to hear about a job opening. The best areas in Ferndale to find food are around Main street, in fact, many locals frequent these establishments enough to be considered "regulars". Come visit Ferndale sometime, you'll love it!
