Federal Heights is a large industrial city within Adams County. The amazing community feel is one of the reasons I love it here! The other advantage is the job growth, due to the rise in jobs about 2% within the past year. The average salary is decent coming in at about $36,000 and the median home price at $257,000; so most housing is somewhat affordable.
Summers are primarily exciting with the temperatures never rising above 89 degrees. There are occasional showers, but not many as we only receive about 16 inches of rain throughout the year. Winters are cold and not missed, the climate produces 47 inches of snow once a year.
The attractions here tend to pull in new residents with high interests in the state parks, museums, wineries, historic landmarks, restaurants, water sports and many fun and thrilling destinations. When it comes to the amenities, one will find a host of useful Airlines and bus services nearby, that is available for convenient and easy access transportation services.
