Fairwood is a Laid-Back Community 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I've been living in Fairwood for 8 years and have raised my three kids in this small town that has very friendly people and a great culture of work and family life enjoyment. The community is very laid back and has a small town charm, but also has all the shops, restaurants, and ...Read More amenities necessary to truly enjoy life to the fullest. Also, if you need a fast pace weekend or getaway Seattle is not too far away.

The best areas in Fairwood is around the Maple Heights-Lake area where you will find some of the nicer developments as far as housing and also you're very close to a lot of amenities for kids to enjoy such as park recreational centers and other venues that cater to families. The people in Fairwood are extremely diverse and they tend to be highly educated individuals who are very inclusive to everyone living in their community and provide opportunities for your family to enjoy a truly pleasant experience living in this small town.
