Gomsrud Park is one of the most beautiful parks Fairmont has to offer, and it's a great spot to h ...Read More ave a picnic or take a nature walk. Martin County Historical Society is another attraction you won't want to pass up, since you'll get to see a variety of historical exhibits that will teach you more about the city of Fairmont and the surrounding areas. Heritage Acres is another must-see when you're in the area, since it features local ancient ruins. If you're bringing your pet(s) with you, you'll also want to visit Fairmont Dog Park.

If you and the kids want to take a swim or have amusement park-level fun, Fairmont Aquatic Park is the place to go. If you want to have a more refined afternoon or evening, you can attend a performance at Fairmont Opera House. Read Less
