Charm within the city. 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) Evergreen Park, Illinois is one of Chicago's west/southwest suburbs. It is a peaceful and more affluent community, and boasts an exceptional public school system. Evergreen Park has a good police presence that keeps the community very safe. The housing market is great in Evergree ...Read More n Park with the only downside being that the property taxes are on the higher end.

Shopping and dining are excellent within the city. Evergreen Park has two main shopping centers- the Evergreen Marketplace and the Evergreen Plaza shopping center. Both places have plenty of stores and unique dining options that keep the locals happy. Because of the city's location, it is close to many suburbs (and the city of Chicago itself) with even more shopping, dining and nightlife options. Evergreen Park is decently culturally diverse, and is close to many other diverse suburbs and parts of Chicago that keep people learning.

Overall, Evergreen Park is an excellent choice for those looking to raise a family in a safer, more pleasant and nice suburb of Chicago. This suburb has something for everyone and has a lot to offer it's residents. Read Less
