A quaint little town in Ephrata. User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I have been living in Ephrata, PA for 17 years. The area is what one would call an average town. What you need is close by if they are essential, but nothing city wise. The town is still on the small side which works if you are trying to get away from the big city life. If you ar ...Read More e okay with a little travel, Lancaster City, York, and Harrisburg are not too far away with only being about a little over an hour. The town does not come without a few crimes, but they are not alerting crimes that result in loss of life. I would not say that Ephrata is a town that has a high-income average. There are far more families that are middle class as well as individuals that reside here.

The nightlife is not exciting. One would have to leave the town in order to have a night out experience. If you are ok with dining out, then you may find a few places. The best places in Ephrata are off of W Main St, where you will find restaurants and a place to shop, and Ephrata Linear Park. Read Less
