The Great Views in El Cerrito, CA User Rating 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) My grandparents moved from India to El Cerrito in the 60's. I have been here all my life. I love living in the Bay Area. Our little city has charming hills where you can see vistas of the San Francisco Bay Bridge. Great parks are seemingly everywhere. The best park in El Cerrito ...Read More is the huge and beautiful Huber Park, set on 80 acres. I love to walk my dogs there. Aside from that, there's like 5 or 6 other great parks around. This makes El Cerrito a wonderful place to live for urban dwellers who also like to bike and hike.

Another reason I appreciate about El Cerrito is that it's really convenient. Interstate 80 runs right through it. The public transportation is awesome. We're also a stop on the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) and it doesn't take long to get to Oakland and San Francisco airports. It's also nearby the University of California Berkeley campus.

My favorite place for entertainment is the Cerrito Theater, where you can watch movies while having wine and beer served. Playland-Not-At-The-Beach is an amusement park themed museum. It's a unique stop and I often bring out of town guests there. I love to play the variety of pinball machines there. Read Less
