Cozy Small Town Living Near Michigan User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) Living in Eastpointe is like living in a tiny town with all the benefits of living in the city. There aren't many things to do in the town itself, but take a short drive into Detroit and you could find something to do any time of the day, for any age group. The best areas in Eastpointe to relax are at the amazing festivals that happen a few times a year. There is the Erin-Halfway Days Living History Festival, which is awesome for geeky history buffs. There's a big event in the summer, aptly called Summer Fest, that is a ton of fun. There's even free music most Wednesday's in the big city park. There may not be much to do here during other times of the year, but it's a great little commuter town for those like me who work in the big city. Read Less
